Technical Support Engineer

Primary Responsibilities
- Interact with customers via the phone, GotoAssist (and other remote support software), email and occasionally in person / on-site.
- Support customers in reference to products and services sold and supported by NimbleUser. This includes:
- Ektron Content Manager (www.Ektron.com)
- Salesforce.com and Force.com (www.salesforce.com / www.force.com)
- Google Applications (www.google.com/a)
- Custom software development
- NimbleUser Windows based hosting operations (Web, Citrix and Terminal Server)
- Support NimbleUser team (I.e. Desktop support)
- Data entry of all correspondence with customers into tracking system
- Proper ownership of issues and follow-through for all customers who may have an open issue in order to properly close it
- Contribute technical articles / help to on-line resources including the NimbleUser blog.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Two years technical support experience, preferably supporting business applications software. Must have basic systems knowledge, to include knowledge of operating systems and networks. Successful candidate will have demonstrated strong problem solving and crisis management skills. Strong conceptual and analytical skills with the ability to work as an effective member of a team a must. Excellent verbal and written communication skills a must.
Understanding of the following technologies: SQL Server, HTML, CSS, Web Development
Experience with Salesforce, Force.com, iMIS, Ektron, Drupal, .NET, PHP, VanGo, iMIS Public Views, Crystal Reports, Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Reporting Services is a plus.
