NimbleUser attended Salesforce’s premier conference, Dreamforce, in San Francisco last week. Dreamforce is now considered the worlds largest software conference with over 170,000 attendees and 2,700 sessions! This conference is a great opportunity for us to learn the future direction of Salesforce and how we can harness it to shape our product roadmap to help associations better leverage the power of the Force.com platform.
It was incredible to experience the positive energy around the conference coming from the worlds most innovative company.

Highlights of Nimble AMS Winter ‘18
Express Payment delivers a simple way for you to accept payment, for anything - from anyone. Staff can now send a unique payment URL to their constituents, allowing them to easily view and pay their invoice, with or without logging in. Additionally, constituents can also forward this URL directly to their accounting department for payment. By adding Express Payment, we’re expediting the payment process and freeing up staff to focus on innovation, rather than renewal reminders.
Multiple Community Hubs
Nimble AMS can now meet the needs of associations managing multiple organizations. With Winter ‘18, customers can create Community Hubs—online constituent portals—for multiple organizations, each with its own style and content. This gives associations the power to create a related Community Hub completely different from their foundation Community Hub. We’re excited to see the new constituent destinations our customers create!
Community Hub Access Control
We’ve added Access Control to Community Hub, providing administrators even more control over their constituent’s journey. Administrators can now select which pages, components, and content display to individuals based on specific criteria, allowing for the creation of exceptionally personalized constituent experiences with clicks instead of code.
Lighting Experience Optimization
Salesforce’s new interface—Lightning Experience— offers a beautiful, intuitive, and intelligent way to take your team’s performance to the next level. As an app on Salesforce, Nimble AMS Staff View has been reimagined to harness the power of this new user interface and optimize association specific tasks. All new customers will use Lightning Experience, and we’re helping existing customers make the leap forward so they boost productivity, work smarter and take full advantage of the Salesforce-focused innovation keeping NimbleAMS at the front of the pack.

Nimble AMS Winter ‘18 is full of new features that will make your staff and members more efficient than ever! In this release we have removed barriers to payment, streamlined Staff View by optimizing for Lightning Experience, and made way for Multiple Community Hubs. We also put the power of Community Hub Access Control in the hands of administrators. We’re very excited about all the ways this latest release will help you make the most of your AMS.
Community Hub Express Payment is a very simple concept, make it as easy as possible to allow an association to receive a payment for anything and from anyone. With the Winter '18 release of Nimble AMS we are continuing our effort to streamline and remove barriers when placing orders and receiving payments in Community Hub. When a constituent receives an email from the association for an invoice with an outstanding balance, it contains a unique URL just for that specific invoice. When they click on this unique URL it directs them to a page where they can view the invoice in full along with a streamlined payment process. We removed even more barriers for the constituent by allowing guests to also process payments. The constituent can simply forward the email with the unique invoice URL to someone else to apply payment without logging in. By adding the unique Express Payment URL to all orders and carts, we are expediting the payment process for invoice the association may have.
Multiple Community Hubs
Multiple Community Hubs is the latest advancement to the Nimble AMS Community Hub experience. This new functionality provides administrators with the necessary building blocks to setup and maintain additional Community Hubs. As before, the primary association can fully manage their ecommerce needs in their existing Community Hub. Now, any additional entities or affiliated associations also managed in Nimble AMS can have their own entity based Community Hub. Administrators have the tools to define each Community Hub's look and feel as well as the unique Community Hub experience for that entity or association.
Community Hub Access Control
The Community Hub Setup has been enhanced with even more point and click setup and configuration options. The new Community Hub Access Control functionality gives association administrators the power to define the conditional display options of various Community Hub components. Administrators can now add special display options to either show or hide a Community Hub component based on the association's specific business rules with easy point and click tools. These tools allow you to show or hide Cards, Buttons, Pages or Navigation Menu Items in Community Hub with only a few clicks. Continuous improvement to the Community Hub Setup just empowers your association to do more and do it easily so your constituents have the best and most personalized experience in Community Hub.
Lightning Experience Optimization
Lightning Experience is Salesforce's reimagined user interface and it comes with a fresh new modern look for their users. Salesforce built Lightning Experience to make people more productive, and with Winter '18, you can increase your staff's efficiency with Nimble AMS optimized for Lightning Experience. With Lightning Experience enabled in your org, you will enjoy the hundreds of new Salesforce features and a streamlined Nimble AMS experience that is only available in Lightning.
