Thoughts on technology and innovation
Leveraging your event app to generate revenue and reduce costs is a smart way to not only pay for your app, but also find new sources of revenue for your organization.
As the Director of Mobile Technologies for Results Direct, I work with our Eventsential customers to help them make the most of their app investments. Here are my top tips for generating revenue with Eventsential:
TIP 1: OFFER EXCLUSIVE APP SPONSORSHIP
Find a single sponsor for your event app. Sole sponsorship establishes enhanced visibility and offers high profile branding exposure before, during and after your event.

“While there are many factors that affect long-term success of an AMS, one underlying factor is user adoption. User adoption reflects how well (or not) the staff takes to using the new database.”
Using Salesforce? Trailhead Is Your Personal Trainer
Boost user adoption of Salesforce and Nimble AMS by making sure your team is effectively trained before, during, and after launch. Salesforce Trailhead is a fun, free, and comprehensive way to learn Salesforce skills online.
Content in Trailhead is organized into units, modules, and trails to help guide you through everything you need to know about Salesforce.
For example, there is a trail for CRM Basics to get one started with using and navigating Salesforce, as well advanced developer trails like Apex Enterprise Patterns.
Interesting note: There are actually a lot of trails for skills that do not directly relate to Salesforce like:
Peter Pirro, Client Engagement Specialist
In 5th grade, I penned five pages on what a visit to Paris, France would be like. After some research and consternation, I turned in my work on starchy, lined paper and received an A+. The title: “The Parisian Experience”. What I didn’t realize, until I had actually stepped foot on French soil, was that my “experience” was a lonely candle compared to the brilliant sunlight that awaited me in the city itself. It’s easy to learn about something from reading or writing, but to truly experience it takes all senses and, most of all, your involvement in something significant. NimbleUser training starts out with a game plan - you can write it on starchy, lined paper if you’d like. It ends with a full-circle dynamo of engaging development which brings people, ideas, and innovation together.

“Customer Success” is a popular phrase right now—but what does it mean here at NimbleUser and most importantly what does it mean for our clients? In a nutshell, it means we care about your success. We are committed to understanding what success means to our clients and working together to reach those goals.
We’re not going to launch Nimble AMS and then leave you in the dark. In fact, our Customer Success really kicks in after you’ve launched Nimble AMS. You will have a Client Engagement Manager who will check in with you to ensure you are running smoothly and your staff is happy.
