Thoughts on technology and innovation
Jeff Golembiewski, Director, Product Management
Learning is a constant; something that we all need to do in our ever-changing world. This is all too true for the association management software (AMS) industry. Over the past 20 years the AMS industry has evolved from software solutions primarily designed from the association staff perspective, to solutions that are self-service centric for members and non members. This was one of the main topics discussed at this year’s iMIS "Innovations Conference (a conference created to educate the iMIS AiSP community) in Austin, TX.
The cornerstone at this year’s conference was the new .NET wCM module (the iMIS content management solution) and the flexible iParts applications. They are taking iMIS to a whole new level in how both staff and the constituents can interact with the system. These new tools give the iMIS solution added freedom in design and configurability.
In addition to the learning opportunities, Innovations also took some time to recognize industry leaders. NimbleUser (NU) is proud to announce that we received two awards at this year’s conference:
Bob Alves (Chairman & CEO - ASI), Jeff Golembiewski (Evangelist - NimbleUser), Sig VanDamme (Founder - NimbleUser), and Don Robertson (President & CTO - ASI)
